About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring an unarmed Security Officer for a driving role at a retail location in Madisonville, Kentucky. The officer drives designated routes, conducts routine and random patrols, maintains a visible security presence, and supports a welcoming environment for customers and staff. The position provides customer service, communicates clearly, and responds professionally to security concerns while following site-specific policies and driver policy requirements. The schedule is Wednesday and Thursday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM and Friday and Saturday from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The position is full-time and pays $17.00 per hour.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing may be required before employment, subject to state and local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store associates while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations; contact appropriate store personnel or emergency services when needed.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of sales floors, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas, and report security concerns.
Help deter theft, trespassing, and other undesirable activity through a professional presence, observation, and timely reporting.
Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities according to site procedures and Allied Universal requirements.
