Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Driving Role
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer for a driving post at a technology, media, and telecommunications location in Mesa, Arizona. The officer will safeguard clients, visitors, and employees by providing customer service, conducting routine unarmed patrols, maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents, and following site-specific procedures. The role requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. The schedule is Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM and Saturday and Sunday from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The pay rate is $20.50 per hour. Applicants must have at least one year of security-related experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and be at least 18 years old for this unarmed role. Employment is subject to a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. State or local licensing may be required before employment.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of security-related experience.
- A valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
- Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, document observations, and promptly communicate concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility interiors, exterior grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access to restricted areas, verify visitor and contractor credentials, and follow site procedures for entry, escorting, and badge control.
- Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
