Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Driving Role
About The Position
As a part-time Unarmed Security Officer in a retail setting in Atlanta, Georgia, you will help safeguard clients and support a welcoming environment for shoppers, tenants, visitors, and staff. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal’s driver policy requirements. You will provide customer service, conduct patrols, respond to incidents, and communicate clearly while representing the company’s values. The scheduled shifts are Friday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM and Saturday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Officers may use the Claim a Shift platform to view and claim additional shifts. The pay rate is $18.00 per hour.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of security-related experience.
- A valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements may apply prior to employment, subject to state and/or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to shoppers, tenants, visitors, and staff while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
- Respond calmly to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations, escalating matters according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of retail common areas, storefronts, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Observe and report suspicious activity, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Assist with access control, directions, and visitor interactions.
- Document incidents and patrol activities in accordance with site requirements.
