About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed Security Officer for a driving post at a commercial real estate location in Atlanta, Georgia. The officer will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide customer service and communication to tenants and visitors. The role requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. The pay rate is $16.50 per hour. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing may be required prior to employment, subject to state and local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and employees while following site-specific security procedures and policies.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building common areas, entrances, parking areas, and the property perimeter; identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, contacting appropriate personnel or emergency services as directed.
Complete daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift logs in accordance with company and site requirements.
