About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer for a driving role at a logistics and distribution location in Goodyear, Arizona. The officer will conduct unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, support access control and site operations, and provide customer service and clear communication. A valid driver’s license is required for this driving position. The role is scheduled overnight from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday. The pay rate is $20.50 per hour. Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent and be at least 18 years old for an unarmed role. A guard card/license and comfort using a computer or tablet are preferred. Employment is conditional on applicable background investigation and drug screening requirements.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license, required for driving positions and subject to Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and warehouse personnel while following security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of distribution areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter.
Monitor site access by verifying credentials, observing vehicle and pedestrian traffic, and documenting visitor, vendor, and delivery activity according to site procedures.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
Complete daily activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs; report security concerns, hazards, and maintenance issues to site leadership.
