About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer Driver Escort to serve and safeguard clients at an automotive manufacturing location in Sumter, South Carolina. The role involves monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents, and providing customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. The scheduled shifts are Thursday through Sunday, 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. The pay rate is $15.00 per hour.

Requirements

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements for driving positions.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive manufacturing location.
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing areas, parking facilities, access points, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity.
• Report observed hazards, equipment concerns, and unusual activity to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
