About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed Security Officer Route Patrol Driver in Wilmington, North Carolina. The officer will drive and conduct routine patrols throughout assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and report observed concerns. The role includes providing customer service to clients and communicating clearly with visitors and team members to support a welcoming environment through teamwork, integrity, reliability, and a caring approach. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site. The position pays $17.00 per hour. The listed schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 10:00 PM–2:00 AM. Employees can use the Claim a Shift platform to view and claim additional shifts. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing may be required before employment, subject to state and local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
Maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and report observed concerns.
Communicate clearly with visitors and team members and contribute to a welcoming environment.
