About The Position

As an unarmed patrol officer at a government location in Albuquerque, New Mexico, you will help safeguard clients by conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents, and responding professionally to security-related concerns. You will provide customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment. The role is full-time and scheduled Wednesday through Sunday, 12:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. The pay rate is $16.43 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements required by applicable state or local laws and regulations before employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while following assigned security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at government facilities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, disturbances, alarms, and critical situations, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, maintain required logs and reports, and communicate observations and incidents to appropriate personnel and Allied Universal leadership.
