About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer to serve and safeguard clients across industries including commercial real estate, healthcare, education, and government. The role involves providing customer service while carrying out safety and security procedures, following site-specific policies, responding to emergencies and critical incidents, and conducting regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site. This is a full-time position paying $18.50 per hour.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or 21 years old or older for armed roles.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• Undergo a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Undergo a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Have a valid driver's license for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients while carrying out safety and security procedures and site-specific policies.
• Perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
