About The Position

As a part-time, unarmed Security Officer Driving Patrol in Winnemucca, Nevada, you will safeguard clients at a manufacturing and industrial location. This primarily driving post involves routine facility patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents, and supporting a welcoming environment through customer service and communication. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

The position is scheduled for daytime shifts on Saturdays and Sundays, 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and pays $22.50 per hour. Applicants are subject to a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. Applicable licensing requirements may need to be met before employment.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

• A Guard Card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, access points, parking areas, production areas, and the perimeter to identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, vehicle, and employee entry and exit activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, notify appropriate personnel, and complete required reports.
• Observe and report security concerns, hazards, and policy violations, and maintain detailed daily activity logs and incident documentation.
