Security Officer Patrol Driving
About The Position
As a Security Officer Patrol Driving in El Paso, Texas, you will help safeguard clients at a retail location by conducting routine unarmed patrols, maintaining a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and providing customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. You will communicate professionally with customers and team members and contribute to a welcoming environment through teamwork, integrity, reliability, agility, and innovation. This is a part-time position paying $15.00 per hour. The listed schedule is Monday, Tuesday, and Sunday from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM. Applicants are subject to a background investigation and a drug screen, to the extent permitted by law. Applicable state or local licensing requirements may apply.
Requirements
- At least one year of security-related experience.
- A valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Applicable state and/or local licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to shoppers, visitors, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations, using problem-solving skills.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail sales floor, entrances, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Observe and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to store leadership and/or emergency responders.
- Assist with access control, visitor interactions, and incident documentation in accordance with site-specific procedures.
