About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time, unarmed Security Officer for an overnight driving patrol role at a transportation-related construction location in Springfield, Ohio. The officer will help safeguard the site by conducting patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, monitoring access, responding to incidents, and providing customer service to employees, contractors, drivers, and visitors. A valid driver’s license is required for this driving post. The schedule is Wednesday through Saturday, 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM. Pay is $17.00 per hour, paid weekly.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, contractors, drivers, and visitors while carrying out site-specific security procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of construction areas, access points, parking areas, equipment storage locations, and the perimeter.
Monitor vehicle and pedestrian access, verify credentials as directed, maintain visitor and delivery records, and report unusual activity.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, follow established procedures, and contact emergency services when appropriate.
Document patrols, incidents, observations, and shift activities according to company and site-specific reporting requirements.
