About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed Security Officer Patrol Driver in Wilson, North Carolina. The officer will serve and safeguard clients by monitoring and patrolling assigned locations, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and providing customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. The role pays $17.00 per hour and is scheduled overnight on Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Applicants for unarmed roles must be at least 18 years old.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations, and may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and conduct emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
