About The Position

The Security Officer protects people, property, and assets by patrolling premises, monitoring systems, controlling access, and responding to emergencies to maintain a safe and secure environment. The officer serves as a helpful professional resource while ensuring people on the property follow safety protocols. This is a full-time position at a site in Danville, Illinois, paying $19.00 per hour. The schedule includes 1st and 2nd shifts. No experience is necessary.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older.
High school diploma or GED required.
Valid driver's license and clear driving record required.
Above-average computer and technology skills.
Must be able to work independently and provide excellent customer service.
Must be able to remain calm under pressure and vigilant throughout the shift.
Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid, effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
Strong observational skills, excellent communication abilities, and quick decision-making capabilities.
Must be willing to participate in the company's pre-employment screening process, including a drug screen and background investigation.

Prior security, law enforcement, or military experience.
