About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed Security Officer for a driving patrol post at a financial institution in Orlando, Florida. The officer will safeguard clients by conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and providing customer service and communication. The position pays $18.57 per hour and is scheduled Wednesday through Sunday, 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. This role involves carrying out site-specific security procedures and policies, monitoring access and visitor activity, responding to incidents and alarms, and documenting and communicating security-related information. A valid driver’s license is required under Allied Universal driver policy. Applicants are subject to applicable background investigation and drug screening conditions.

Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience.
A valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
A high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to drug screening to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a financial services location while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, entry points, parking areas, and the perimeter.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report suspicious activity or policy violations.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following escalation and reporting protocols.
Complete activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant security information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
