About The Position

As a Security Officer Badge Control in Fort Collins, Colorado, you will serve and safeguard clients at a food and beverage production or distribution location. You will help maintain a welcoming, orderly environment by managing entry points, verifying credentials, monitoring access activity, and assisting visitors and employees. The role involves using computer or tablet systems to document security-related information, providing customer service, and addressing concerns professionally. The schedule is part-time, Friday and Saturday from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM, at $19.95 per hour.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any licensing requirements imposed by applicable state or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization, issue and collect visitor credentials, and maintain accurate access-related logs and records.
• Respond calmly to access-related incidents, alarms, denied-entry events, and critical situations, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, perimeter areas, parking areas, and restricted locations to deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership about shift activities, incidents, and unusual conditions.
