About The Position

As a full-time unarmed patrol driver at Neumann University in Aston, Pennsylvania, the Security Officer serves and safeguards the campus community. The role monitors and patrols campus areas, maintains a visible professional presence to help deter incidents, and provides customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and guests. A valid driver’s license is required for this driving position. The officer responds to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical campus events; carries out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities; and documents patrols, incidents, and observations. Work is scheduled Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. The posted pay rate is $19.00 per hour.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required for this driving position and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus guests while following site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical campus events, following established reporting and notification procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, academic areas, residence areas, parking lots, walkways, and perimeter locations.
Monitor for unusual activity, unauthorized access, and potential hazards, deterring unwanted behavior through a visible professional presence.
Accurately document patrol activities, incidents, and observations, and communicate relevant information to campus contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
