About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed Security Officer to support a financial institution in Westlake, Texas. The officer will help safeguard employees, visitors, vendors, and the site by conducting patrols, monitoring access, responding to incidents, and providing customer service. The role follows site-specific policies and procedures and may involve emergency response activities.

Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements that apply under state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification.
Customer service experience.
Access control and badge experience.
CPR and First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors while carrying out security procedures and site policies.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations, following site procedures and escalation protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including business offices, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
Monitor access points and verify visitor, employee, and contractor entry in accordance with access control procedures.
Accurately document observations, incidents, and security-related activities, and report concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts as appropriate.
