About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring an unarmed Security Officer for front-of-store entrance access control in Anaheim, California. The role serves and safeguards clients by providing customer service and carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. The officer responds calmly to incidents and critical situations and conducts regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site.

This is a part-time swing-shift position scheduled Sunday and Monday from 1300 to 2100 hours. The pay rate is $22.32 per hour.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or have 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any applicable licensing requirements prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out safety and security procedures and site-specific policies.
• Conduct emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
