About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring an unarmed Security Officer for front-of-store entrance access control in Anaheim, California. The officer will safeguard clients by providing customer service, following safety and security procedures and site-specific policies, responding to emergencies and incidents, and conducting regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site. This is a full-time swing-shift role scheduled Tuesday through Saturday, 1300–2100 hours, paying $22.32 per hour.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or have five years of verifiable experience.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out safety and security procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
