About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Operations in Pomona, California, you will safeguard clients at a logistics and distribution location. In this unarmed patrol role, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, support access control, and respond to alarm-related activity. Your visible presence will help deter incidents while you provide professional customer service and clear communication. This is a part-time position scheduled Friday and Saturday from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM, paying $21.00 per hour.

Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and conduct emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, using problem-solving skills and escalating concerns according to site-specific procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the distribution facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate activity logs in accordance with site requirements.
Observe shipping and receiving operations for unusual activity and report security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
