About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Operations in Hastings, Nebraska, you will serve and safeguard clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location. In this unarmed patrol role, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment. You will engage with employees and visitors, report security-related concerns, and provide customer service and communication. The role also supports security operations at a renewable energy technology location, including following site-specific policies and carrying out emergency response activities when appropriate.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements applicable under state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the business, perimeter, parking areas, access points, and other assigned areas.
Monitor access to the location and verify credentials as required.
Report suspicious activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
Complete daily activity reports, incident documentation, and other required records in accordance with site-specific procedures and Allied Universal standards.
Engage with employees and visitors and help maintain a welcoming environment.
