About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Operations in Honolulu, Hawaii, you will serve and safeguard clients at a commercial real estate location. In this unarmed patrol role, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. You will provide customer service, communicate clearly, and document observations using computer or tablet tools. The role is full-time and pays $20.00 per hour. The stated schedule is Monday and Thursday through Sunday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM; no Tuesday or Wednesday hours are listed.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles and possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Background investigation and drug screening are employment conditions, subject to applicable laws. Licensing requirements depend on state and local laws and may need to be met before employment. A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state or local security licensing requirements; a license may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state-, county-, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property management personnel by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of commercial property buildings, parking areas, common areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management according to site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, follow established procedures, and contact appropriate personnel or emergency services as needed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and activity logs documenting patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns.
