About The Position

As a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location in Torrance, California, you will help safeguard the site and provide a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide customer service and clear communication as part of Allied Universal’s team. The schedule is Friday and Saturday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The pay rate is $20.00 per hour. The role involves site-specific security procedures, patrols, access observation, incident response, and accurate reporting.

Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements; licensing may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees while following site-specific security procedures and policies.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter.
Observe entry and exit activity, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, driver, and delivery information.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, follow site-specific emergency response procedures, and notify appropriate personnel.
Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications.
