About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed Security Officer at a retail distribution location in Butner, North Carolina. The officer will help safeguard the site by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible security presence, responding to security-related concerns, and providing customer service to clients, delivery drivers, vendors, and associates. The role involves supporting site-specific procedures and policies, helping deter incidents and unauthorized access, and contributing to a welcoming and orderly environment. The scheduled hours are 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, Monday through Friday. The pay rate is $18.04 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements imposed by state or local laws and regulations.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification.
Customer service experience.
Comfort using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, delivery drivers, vendors, and associates while following security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of distribution areas, loading docks, parking lots, trailer yards, building entrances, and the surrounding perimeter.
Monitor access points and verify visitor, vendor, and driver authorization according to site-specific procedures.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.
Help maintain orderly vehicle and pedestrian traffic flow while providing professional customer service.
