About The Position

The Security Officer - Truck Gate helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling locations, preserving order, and enforcing site regulations and directives for personnel, visitors, and the surrounding area. Officers observe and report activities and incidents at the assigned client site to help protect client property and personnel. They may also provide customer service and information to client employees and customers. This role requires excellent customer service skills and successful completion of a drug screen and background check. Applicants must be able to meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal security officer licensing requirements. No prior experience is necessary; training is provided. The position pays $16.08 per hour and follows 12-hour rotating AM and PM shifts, with approximately 15–16 workdays per month. Security positions are available full- and part-time.

Requirements

Excellent customer service skills.
Pass a drug screen and background check.
Meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards.
Frequent sitting, standing, and walking, potentially for long periods; may include climbing stairs and walking on inclines and uneven terrain.
Frequent lifting and/or moving of up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving of up to 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Retail, food service, or hospitality industry background is considered a good fit; no experience is necessary.
