About The Position

Securitas is hiring a full-time Security Officer to work at two locations in the Elmira/Chemung area. The position combines Saturday–Sunday shifts from 0600 to 1400 at $17.00 per hour and Thursday–Friday shifts from 1500 to 2300 at $18.10 per hour. The selected candidate must attend Securitas orientation at the Johnson City, NY office. If NYS licensing classes are needed, they will also be held at that office. The Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment by monitoring and patrolling client premises, preserving order, and enforcing site regulations and directives. Officers may also provide customer service and information to client employees and customers. Requirements

Valid New York State driver's license.
Must meet Securitas Safe Drive program requirements.
Must be able to work Saturday–Sunday, 0600–1400, and Thursday–Friday, 1500–2300.
