About The Position

Securitas is hiring a full-time Security Officer to work at two locations in the Elmira/Chemung, New York area. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday from 0600 to 1400 at $17.00 per hour, and Thursday and Friday from 1500 to 2300 at $18.10 per hour. The combined assignment is considered full-time and includes full-time benefits. The Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment by actively monitoring and patrolling client premises, preserving order, and enforcing client-site regulations and directives related to personnel, visitors, and the area. The role also involves providing customer service and information to client employees and customers. Duties include report writing, vehicle and foot patrols, access control, and emergency response. Applicants must have a valid New York State driver's license and meet the Securitas Safe Drive program requirements. The selected candidate must attend Securitas orientation at the Johnson City, NY office. Any required New York State licensing classes will also be held there. No prior experience is necessary; training is provided.

Requirements
