About The Position

Securitas is hiring a full-time Security Officer for a location in Chemung, New York. The role helps maintain a safe and secure environment by monitoring and patrolling premises, preserving order, and enforcing client-site regulations and directives. Officers may also provide customer service and information to client employees and customers.

The schedule is Thursday through Sunday, 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Applicants must be available for those days and hours, and for holidays when their regular shift falls on a holiday and the job location is open. The position requires a valid New York State driver's license and the ability to meet Securitas Safe Drive program requirements.

The person hired must attend Securitas orientation at the Johnson City, New York office and, if needed to obtain a New York State Security Guard Card, attend state licensing classes. No prior experience is necessary; training is provided. The posting offers a $50 sign-on bonus after 30 days of employment and an additional $50 after 90 days.

Requirements

• Valid New York State driver's license.
• Ability to meet the requirements of the Securitas Safe Drive program.
