About The Position

As a Security Officer Protective Presence at a healthcare location in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, you will help safeguard clients and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide customer service, clear communication, and responsive assistance while representing Allied Universal’s values.

Requirements

At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
State or local licensing may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by following security procedures and site-specific policies and, when appropriate, participating in emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and with a problem-solving approach to incidents and critical situations, including medical emergencies, disturbances, and facility access concerns.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location and its perimeter, observing for unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
Monitor access points and help maintain appropriate access control for authorized personnel, patients, visitors, and deliveries.
Accurately document incidents, observations, and daily activities, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and emergency responders as needed.
