About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed Security Officer for patrol inspection at a technology, media, and telecommunications location in Jeffersonville, Indiana. The officer will help safeguard the site through regular patrols, access monitoring, incident response, reporting, and customer service. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, loading zones, and perimeter areas to identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and maintenance concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials, direct guests, and report access-related concerns to appropriate site contacts.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; document observations and notify appropriate personnel according to site procedures.
Prepare clear, accurate activity reports and communicate with Allied Universal supervisors and client representatives about incidents, patrol findings, and shift activities.
