About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time, unarmed Patrol Inspection Security Officer in Plainfield, Indiana, serving a logistics and distribution location. The officer conducts patrols, maintains a visible security presence, and helps provide a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and delivery personnel. The role involves professional communication, reporting observations, and customer-focused assistance while reflecting Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, care, teamwork, and integrity. The position pays $18.00 per hour and is scheduled Monday through Friday, 12:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Employment is conditional on a background investigation and drug screening, as applicable under law. Licensing requirements may apply under state or local regulations. A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old for an unarmed role.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, if required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by following site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse, loading dock, trailer yard, parking, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and check credentials for employees, contractors, visitors, and delivery personnel according to site procedures.
• Observe and report unusual activity, facility concerns, and security-related incidents; respond to critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
• Maintain accurate logs and complete incident reports, patrol documentation, and shift activity records.
