About The Position

The Security Officer helps maintain the safety and security of Waldorf Astoria Washington DC while delivering memorable, professional guest experiences. The role monitors hotel premises, assists with incident investigations and emergency response, maintains security documentation, and responds to guest inquiries and concerns. The position is overnight and part-time.

Responsibilities

• Conduct security patrols of interior and exterior hotel premises to identify and address safety and security risks, threats, and undesirable conditions.
• Conduct preliminary incident investigations, gather relevant information, document findings, and ensure accurate reporting of security incidents.
• Prepare and maintain accurate security reports and records.
• Assist in responding to safety hazards, fires, medical incidents, and security threats.
• Respond to guest inquiries and concerns professionally and efficiently.
