Security Officer Part Time Overnight
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed patrol Security Officer for a manufacturing and industrial location in Robbinsville, New Jersey. The officer will safeguard the site by monitoring assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, helping deter security-related incidents, and supporting access control. The role also involves professional customer service and clear communication to help maintain a welcoming environment. The position pays $17.00 per hour. Scheduled hours are Saturday and Sunday, 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Officers may use Allied Universal’s Claim a Shift platform to view and claim additional shifts. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements; a license may be required before employment.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security procedures and site-specific policies, and perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, follow site procedures, and report relevant details.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, access points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor site access by observing entry and exit activity, verifying credentials as directed, and documenting visitor, contractor, and delivery information.
- Complete daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol logs accurately, and communicate observations to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
