About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer in Eagan, Minnesota, serving a logistics and distribution location. In this access-control role, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor activity, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide customer service and clear communication while supporting site operations and emergency response activities. The schedule is Thursday and Friday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The pay rate is $19.63 per hour. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements; a license may be required before employment.
Have a valid driver’s license if applying for a driving position.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees while following site-specific access-control procedures and policies and carrying out emergency response activities as appropriate.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor and vehicle logs, and direct authorized personnel to appropriate areas.
Control access to shipping, receiving, warehouse, and restricted operational areas according to site requirements.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, document observations, and communicate with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, the business, loading areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
