Requirements

• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through appropriate communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help identify unauthorized activity and/or conditions that may require attention.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas, equipment, and materials.
• Support Allied Universal and site personnel with incident reporting, post orders, and security-related procedures while maintaining a professional presence in a dynamic working environment.
