Requirements

• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and other security-related policies at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help identify suspicious activity, potential hazards, and/or access control concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other restricted areas to help support authorized access, visitor processing, and compliance with site rules and reporting requirements.
• Complete required logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and report maintenance issues, policy concerns, and/or security-related observations to the appropriate personnel.
