About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed Security Officer to support a manufacturing and industrial location in McDonough, Georgia. The role involves routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitoring assigned areas, and providing customer service and clear communication. The position is scheduled Thursdays and Fridays from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM and pays $18.51 per hour.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any licensing requirements that apply under state or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Carry out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities while providing customer service.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouse spaces, offices, parking areas, loading docks, and the facility perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Complete detailed activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications.
• Maintain a professional presence throughout the location.
