About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer to serve and safeguard clients at a transportation location in Cincinnati, Ohio. This is an unarmed patrol role focused on routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, providing customer service, and communicating with site personnel. The officer helps support a welcoming environment and responds to security concerns with professionalism and integrity.

The position pays $16.00 per hour and is scheduled Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Additional shifts may be viewed and claimed through the company’s Claim a Shift platform. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, drivers, and transportation personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transportation access areas, parking locations, building exteriors, common areas, and perimeter boundaries.
• Identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe pedestrian and vehicle activity.
• Assist with authorized entry procedures and direct visitors in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, document observations, and notify appropriate personnel as directed.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation.
• Maintain professional communication with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
