Security Officer Residential Unarmed Patrol
About The Position
As a Security Officer Residential Unarmed Area Patrol in Las Vegas, Nevada, you will serve and safeguard clients in a residential community. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide customer service to residents and visitors. You will communicate professionally, respond to concerns, and help support a welcoming environment while embodying Allied Universal’s stated values. This is a part-time position paying $20.00 per hour. The listed schedule is Tuesday and Wednesday, 8:00 PM to 4:00 AM. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
- Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or vendors by following security procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
- Identify and report unusual activity, property concerns, and policy violations.
- Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations, following established site procedures.
- Monitor access points and observe resident and visitor activity according to site policies.
- Report unauthorized access attempts and suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
- Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with company and site-specific requirements.
