About The Position

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Spokane, Washington, you will safeguard clients at a technology-focused location. You will conduct routine unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. The role emphasizes exceptional customer service, clear communication, integrity, and teamwork. This is a full-time position paying $21.85 per hour. The listed schedule is Monday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Be subject to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
Be subject to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
A Guard Card/License is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by following site-specific security procedures and policies and, when appropriate, carrying out emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally, and escalate matters according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site procedures, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation in accordance with company and site requirements.
