About The Position

As an Unarmed Security Officer at an aerospace and defense business location in Titusville, Florida, you will safeguard clients by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, conducting access-control and badge-related activities, and maintaining a visible presence to help deter security incidents. You will provide professional customer service to employees and visitors, communicate clearly, and use technology to document observations. The position is part-time and pays $18.91 per hour. The listed schedule is Tuesday and Wednesday, 10:00 PM–6:00 AM.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
State or local licensing may be required before employment, depending on applicable requirements.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense business location.
Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate access-control documentation according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, billing operations spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter; identify and report unusual conditions.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, following established escalation protocols.
Report policy violations, suspicious activity, and maintenance concerns to appropriate site contacts to help protect sensitive business information and property.
