Security Officer - Patrol Monitoring

About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed Security Officer for patrol monitoring at a food and beverage production location in Delphi, Indiana. The officer will help safeguard the site by conducting patrols, monitoring access and visitor activity, responding to incidents and alarms, documenting activity, and providing customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors. The scheduled shifts are Monday and Tuesday from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. The pay rate is $17.25 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements applicable under state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.

CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by following security procedures and site-specific policies and, when appropriate, carrying out emergency response activities.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, offices, and the facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and assist with enforcing site entry and exit procedures.
Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
