About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced Credential Review in Fontana, California. The role provides a designated site and weekly anchor shift requiring a six-month commitment. Employees may claim additional shifts through the scheduling platform, with the option to work up to 40 hours per week and scale back when needed. The pay rate is $19.32 per hour. The listed schedule is Saturday, 5:30 AM–1:30 PM. The position is at a manufacturing and industrial location and involves access control, visitor screening, recordkeeping, incident response, and facility patrols.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points at a manufacturing and industrial location, verify credentials, screen visitors, and maintain accurate visitor and contractor records.
• Observe access-control systems, report irregularities, and escalate concerns according to site procedures to help deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, production areas, and perimeter.
