About The Position

As a part-time Security Officer in Flowery Branch, Georgia, you will help safeguard clients at a retail location by maintaining a welcoming and secure environment. You will monitor access points, verify credentials, respond to alarms, and document security-related activity. You will remain visible to help deter incidents while providing customer service and clear communication. The role offers a schedule that works for you and access to a platform for viewing and claiming additional shifts. The scheduled hours are Friday and Saturday, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM. The pay rate is $15.25 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, vendors, and employees by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Monitor and control access at designated entrances, verifying visitor, vendor, and employee authorization in accordance with established procedures.
Maintain accurate visitor and access records, issue and collect credentials as directed, and communicate access concerns to appropriate site contacts.
Respond to incidents, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the bakery facility, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
