About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed Security Officer for alarm panel watch at a financial institution in Ashburn, Virginia. The officer will safeguard clients and provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors while following site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities. The role includes routine and random patrols, monitoring access points, maintaining logs and incident documentation, responding to alarms and incidents, and reporting security concerns. The schedule is Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. The pay rate is $25.00 per hour.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification.
• Alarm panel experience.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds.
• A state-, county-, or city-issued security-related license.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors by following site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the business perimeter, identifying and reporting unusual conditions or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency services when needed.
• Help deter unauthorized activity through a professional presence, observation, and timely reporting of security-related concerns.
