About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Security Response Officer for its Events Team in Los Angeles, California, and surrounding areas. The role focuses primarily on customer service while helping secure event premises and protect people and property. Officers interact with guests in varied settings and respond to changing needs in fast-paced, high-energy environments. The schedule is event-dependent. Team members must be flexible and available any day of the week and for day, swing, or overnight shifts. GardaWorld provides a uniform at no cost and offers an hourly wage of $20.65, DailyPay access, a benefits package, and career growth opportunities.

Requirements

Be authorized to work in the United States.
Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
Hold a state security license (BSIS Guard Card) and have additional 32-hour BSIS security training; additional training may be obtained during the hiring process.
Be able to think quickly and adapt to changing situations.
Have strong responsiveness and problem-solving skills.
Be flexible and available to work any day of the week and any shift, including day, swing, or overnight shifts, based on event needs.

Nice To Haves

Driver's license.
Security, military, or law enforcement experience.

Responsibilities

Monitor premises to ensure security.
Conduct area patrols to identify suspicious activity.
Control access points by managing traffic flow and preventing overcrowding.
Conduct bag checks, check tickets, and verify IDs to ensure only authorized personnel enter restricted areas.
Assist guests with directions and questions.
Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
Provide excellent customer service while maintaining security.
Write detailed reports on events and incidents.
Collaborate with authorities during serious situations.
Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.
