Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol Observation
About The Position
As a part-time Unarmed Patrol Observation Security Officer at a technology, media, and telecommunications location in Plano, Texas, you will help safeguard the site while providing customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors. You will conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence, monitor access and visitor activity, and respond to incidents according to site procedures. The role includes communicating professionally, documenting activity and incidents, and supporting a welcoming, professional workplace. The schedule is Monday and Sunday, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM. The pay rate is $20.00 per hour.
Requirements
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
- Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements; licensing may be required before employment.

- A Guard Card/License is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the facility, exterior grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to identify unusual activity, access concerns, and potential hazards.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry according to site procedures, and report access-related concerns.
- Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following site protocols and documenting events as required.
- Maintain accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation, and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and support a welcoming environment.
