About The Position

As a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location in Mobile, Alabama, you will help safeguard patients, visitors, staff, and the site. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, provide customer service, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity and teamwork. The role offers a shift-claiming platform for exploring additional shifts. The position pays $14.50 per hour. The listed schedule is Monday, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM; Thursday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM; and Sunday, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM.

Requirements

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

A guard card or license is preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by following site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, behavioral health concerns, medical emergencies, and other critical situations, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, provide directions and escorts as needed, and report unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
Accurately document incidents, observations, and daily activities and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
