About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage production location in Hereford, Texas. The officer will help safeguard the site by conducting routine and random patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and reporting observations promptly. The role also involves providing professional customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors, monitoring access and visitor activity, and supporting a welcoming environment. The position is scheduled Thursdays and Fridays from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM and pays $15.00 per hour, with weekly pay. Employees can use Allied Universal’s Claim a Shift platform to view and claim additional shifts. Employment is contingent on applicable background and drug screening. State or local licensing may be required before employment.

Requirements

At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to drug screening to the extent permitted by law.
State or local licensing may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by following security procedures and site-specific policies, and take part in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly and constructively to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in accordance with established site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, offices, parking areas, exterior grounds, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and document observations, incidents, and irregular conditions according to site requirements.
Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership about security concerns, patrol findings, and incident information.
